Hayden is turning into a mini-Kylie. He wants to do everything she does, down to imitating her actions and when she laughs or sings. It is super cute!
This week we went to the mall for the first time in a while to beat the heat. The kids just love playing on their little rides there!
We did go swimming this week! Only once, though! On Wednesday we invited our friends over to swim with us. Kylie liked swimming with Kennedy and Acadia. Those two have been taking swim lessons, so they like to swim underwater. Kylie wanted to do everything that Kennedy was doing so she learned how to hold her breath and tried swimming underwater too!! Maybe she doesn't even need swim lessons; she just needs to learn from her friends! Haha, just kidding. I still want her to take some lessons. Though time is running out!!
Hayden loved wearing Acadia's goggles, and kept asking me to put them on him. Then one time I didn't help him fast enough so he helped himself and he looked so hilarious!
On Friday Kylie discovered that she can pick up Hayden and they had a lot of fun playing together.
On July 4th it was nice and overcast, yet still warm. We spent the morning at the Virgin River playing in the shallow water. Everyone had lots of fun until lunch time and we were all hungry!
In the afternoon, while Hayden napped, Brandon took Kylie out on a few errands and took her for some birthday ice cream! Later that night when Uncle Jordan came over we did our fireworks and sparklers. Hayden loved the sparklers. Kylie, not so much. Every year she is so excited for fireworks, and every year when we light them she spends the whole time covering her ears and running away. After that I put Hayden to bed, and Brandon, Kylie and Uncle Jordan went downtown to watch the big fireworks show. They didn't get back until 11.30!! Kylie was up way late!!
